The Big One:
Redesign & rebuild of a £multi-million B2C eCommerce site


Design and build a new responsive site from the ground up, from wireframes through to integration, to allow customers to book their attraction getaways easily - no matter where they are or which device they are using.

This Bootstrap-based site was delivered over 6 months by two FEDs dedicated to the project, reporting to stakeholders across functions, with assistance from an in-house designer and back-end team.

Managed in SmartSheet, the clear stages of the project were: Wireframing/Layout Build > Site Design & Styling > Content & Functionality Integration > In-house Testing > Release.


With the site successfully delivered, an uplift in conversion of 102% was noted on the weekly peak trading day vs the previous site, cementing my belief that responsive design is vital for any modern eCommerce trader. Not only does it save money and time which would previously have been spent developing and maintaining mobile sites/apps, it brings a clear and significant increase in income.
